Finally Jungle Bungle is here..

I have spent the last week making 4 costumes. 2 Monkey costumes for Kaitlyn and Rachel, A jungle girl costume for Nat and a Lioness for Mel. they had their parade this morning, and didn't win any prizes, which I maybe bias but one of the girls winning looked not that great.
Now I'm not an experienced sewer, so I was happy with the turn out. And I hope to get more practice in the future as I really did enjoy it :)

I know I know, I haven't posted since JANUARY! OMG that is terrible...

now that life is settling down a little, getting into a routine of blogging might just be possible.
for those that havne't heard, we are now in Toowoomba QLD.

Our landlord in Cooranbong evicted us, cause he had to sell the house. we had so much problem getting a house in that area. applied for well over 20 houses. and nothing. It was a hard road. lots of tears, and prayers.
Then Glenn's Brother suggested we look into toowoomba, and the first time it was suggested, I got my back up and said I wasn't moving there.. well the 2nd time it was suggested, we did.. My parents and Glenn's parents had the girls for a week.. we took Ben with Us, and headed up on the sunday night.

we had a look around at housing, and its $100,000 cheaper to buy up here. things looked brighter. I had a look around up here, and it grew on me. tuesday came, and we looked at a heap of houses.. finally at 4pm we came here.. its not a pretty house on the outside, but the inside we loved. it would suit us perfectly. that afternoon we put in an offer.... later it was rejected, just upped it a tiny bit, and voila it was accepted!!! wow scary! it was Under what we had planned on spending! Awesome.

we had a look at a church school here, and applied for the girls.
made lots of phone calls and arrangements before we headed for home. We drove home on thursday night. Ben slept once again. And then we picked up the girls from school, and told the teachers. I cried when I told the kindy teacher.

school broke up the following week, the truck was arranged, FIL was driving the 8t truck up for us. and we moved the following week. phew!

Our house hadn't settled, but we had to move in the school break. so we stayed with BIL & SIL until our house settled, the friday before Mother's day. Late in the afternoon.

I picked up the key at 4pm, and Met Glenn & BIL here with the first load in our house before Sabbath.

we got another load done on sat Night, and then Sunday did many loads after a macca's breaky. (for mother's day)

this Kangaroo, was laying down.. I walked a little closer to get a pic.. but he got up, and he was a big boy, he came closer and closer.. right in front of me. was scary as these guys change their mood like they blink. he just sniffed at me and that was it. then a lot more came closer to us. it was lovely. Kids loved it.

After spending the morning at a friends house and talking a bit about photography, I thought I would play with my GOOD camera that I have had for awhile now.. teach myself some techniques.

Playgroup Xmas Party

today we had the playgroup xmas party.. kids had so much fun.. there was a jumping castle, and Santa arrived on the firetruck.. sirens and all. he gave each of the kids a present, then we had a potluck feast for morning tea. was a great time. even tho my kids wanted nothing to do with santa up close lol

I finished the grocery shopping.. was travelling home on the F3 freeway and suddenly an explosion.. the steering wheel was shaking so bad I could barely hold it. slowed down and pulled over to the side.. look in the mirror and my tire, the rear tire on the right was flat.. I limped the car into the emergancy stop and look at the tire...

I rang Glenn to let him know what happened, then tried to get the nuts off, they were too tight. Called NRMA (Racq/roadside assistance) up to 60mins waiting time. . .

40mins later the guy turned up to help me.. he was done in 5 mins

I then drove to the tire place, had to get a new tire @ over $100. and then eventually got home.

Phew..
At least, nothing major happened. I mean it was bad enough, but it could have been far worse. Accidents happen because of these things.. if it had been a front tire, I could have rolled the car.. I Was going just over 110kms/hr (the speed limit)

Big Apologies for those who read our blog.. I have been a bad bad but busy blogger.

Its October already.. Breast cancer Month!!
Ok so catch up here....

July - we had a quick trip to Qld for David & Adele's wedding. Glenn's brother was remarried on July 13 in Toowoomba. Glenn had come down from townsville with his Parents and Randall and Mel & Nat met them up there as they went with Uncle Jeffrey. around 630pm the saturday night before hand I chose to drive up there with the little ones. Left about 815pm and got to toowoomba (in Qld) about 730.. just as I was coming into town we ran out of fuel... ugh.. 750kms after I filled up down here LOL Lovely Wedding. the Monday morning we got up and went to Movie World on the gold coast. left there, and chose to drive home.. After of course visiting with Rosemarie & Andrew and the boys. Got to Grafton and got a motel.. it was only midnight. then travelled the rest of the way home the following day.
My birthday of course was at the end of the month.. and we had a lovely time.
August - not too much happened. Keeping up with the kids.. figuring out where exactly I want to be in life.. and thats still a work in progress lol
September.. wow... september already. Yep we've been married 11 yrs now. And this year it fell on Father's day. My Inlaws came over for a BBQ after being away for about 4mo. they were only home a few weeks then off to travel for a few more weeks.
September I also decided to take on being a tupperware demonstrator. Its fun, I am with a great team and am really making progress :)
October.. the school holidays are here.. its a long weekend time and also a camping time :) we went to Allyn River, and had a fantastic time. Kids didn't want to go home, Nat jumped off cliffs and our old puppy dog came. he was worn out. And now the kids are begging to go again.
School holidays we haven't done too much. its been warm. We have made a sandpit for the kids, got a rooster & 3 hens (still too young to lay) and spent heaps of time as a family.
Glenn is still out of work, he's had a little work, but only 10days worth. Hopefully we will know something more in the next couple of weeks.
Kids go back to school tomorrow YAY they are excited as they have been getting bored at home. And then there is missing their friends. Summer uniform yay.
we have also had the twins assessment for school and its all a go ahead for next year.. its scary to think my babies are about to start school even worse when miss Kaitlyn tried on her uniform *sob sob*
Ben is finally looking ready enough to potty train, so the potty is out and ready to use this week woohoo

Ok, a little background..
When I was pregnant with Natalie, I said I was having a boy or a problem girl.. well I got the latter. hopefully I didn't jinx myself.. Natalie has been a difficult child. And until the last 18mo I just thought it was her being a P.I.T.A. but i questioned it. Toward the end of last year I requested that Nat be assessed, for what I didn't know. probably ADD. Until recently a friends daughter was diagnosed with Aspergers. I went through the check list, and a heap of other information and Nat displays alot of the signs of aspergers. so... Once again I headed to my GP and now have a referral to a child psychologist. Aug5.. I should know more. so wish me luck.

its a relief to think that maybe she isn't doing it on purpose.. and I can look at her in a different light reminding myself that she can't help the way she is..

I should really be thankful for the rain... it means that we have never been on water restrictions like half the other country.
The kids are home on holidays, this first week has gone by quite fast.. they are being good so far, have been helping out.
I am thankful that tonight when I called into Bilo, my window wasn't smashed in like a few others.
I am in love with my new fridge!! and the money we saved when I talked to guy down :)
I have made contact with a very good friend over seas, through the marvelous site Facebook
And last but not least, I am grateful for a wonderful husband who has been a huge help this last week at home when he hasn't been able to work because of the rain.\

Adventurer Camp

Adventurer Camp was held at Crosslands this year. Its not that far to go.. and a fairly easy drive if you avoid the galston gorge.

We took off around 445.. got there, set up.. The big girls set up their tent and we set up the camper.. ok, so i had to help them just a little LOL

Friday night we had nice warm pumpkin soup for dinner. Natalie on the other hand ate when she turned up.. we barely saw her. Although she did let us know where she was going and with who. She had an absolute ball!!!

Melanie was still in recovery mode from her Year5 camp to Crusaders.. so her plans were to veg out. that she did to a fine art... must get it from her mum ;)

The little 3 ran wild!! they had heaps of room to run... they couldn't go too far, so that was good. Benjamin had fun kicking the ball around. he is a champ at soccer.. it must be a boy thing... lol

the program that was planned kept the kids busy.. lots of worships, and activities. learning about their surroundings to get their habitat award. they had challenges to make them think.. Absolutely Awesome.

Saturday night consisted of red faces.. as the camp had their color bands on..(we were in the red team this year) we separated into our groups and came up with an act... Mel & Nat had a lead role in one.. and they did a great job! I had kaitlyn & Rachel on my lap which meant i couldn't actually video it.. hopefully i can get a copy.. and everyone got a lollypop for participating.

Each Adventurer was given a bag, with things in it, including texta's and a torch.. there was a comp about who could decorate their bag the best.. and Nat won in her group..

Sunday, they had heaps to do including the pool activities ( I swear it was freezing, but the kids disagreed lol) capture the flag, orienteering (learnt from Phil how to use a compas, and get clues to finish their activity sheet)

It was finished up with a game of tug-of-war. boys against girls, red & blue against green & Yellow, then adults v's kids.. was heaps of fun :)

Now to be home and recover LOL

Finish unpacking, catch up on washing... and all that good stuff!!!!

bad blogger (yet again)

oh wow... where does the time go. I apologise for the time gap in my posts.. must be better blogger.

ok whats been happening?

Jameeka turned 2, which required a birthday party.. Kids had heaps of fun and crashed when we got home.
Our Bear got the snip, was told that he would be quiet... HA yeah right. he was tearing around the house that night as if nothing had happened.
Swimming carnival... Mel kicked BUTT! she won 2 events, and came places in all the other races.
Stuka puppy also turned 8!!!
Benjamin got croup :(
Mel was supposed to have her first Pathfinder's campout but was cancelled due to bad weather :( bummer
its MARCH!!!
Its Erins Birthday (Nat's bestie) and since our families are close like family, we kinda celebrated most of the weekend LOL We went bowling on saturday night after they had adventurers. had heaps of fun bowling. Kaitlyn & Rachel enjoyed their first time too..
Friday the 14th, Glenn flew in.. and when we went to pick up the 3 little ones from preschool Benjamin saw him and laughed, and laughed and laughed!!! was so funny.
The saturday was Nat's 9th birthday!!! we went to church, and had a BBQ tea with family.. was lovely!
The sunday was Nat's party @ Mingara.. was a fun day of swimming.. and it was lovely to have P and her kids join us as well.. 2 hrs of water activities.. and I made a butterfly cake for her..
Glenn flew back to townsville :(
The 3 little ones had their preschool photos.. that was interesting.. they will be back in a bit. can't wait to see them
then it was Katya's (our triplet) birthday. oh Man can D throw a 4yo's birthday party. Water fights, food, mayhem... great time (Thanks d xoxox)
22nd was Glenn's birthday. we had celebrated the week before.
it was also Easter.. and we are chocolated out. Our neighbor had an egg hunt in their yard for all the kids. Lovely gesture. chocolate chocolate everywhere!!!
28th was Tala's birthday (ben's girl) and she is a big 2 now!! yipee!!!
I had the dentist, and dr that day.. as well as fridge shopping.. have decided on the fridge.. now just to make sure it fits in the gap we have...
saturday we vegged out in the morning, and in the afternoon we headed out to dad's place. where they decided to shout us Macca's... oh they learnt a lesson with taking 5 kids to macca's lmao!!!
Kittens - one has gone to its new home :( the other are going soon. they are 8 wks tomorrow. as much as i love them, i can't keep up with them.
And now its official... We are not going to move anywhere near townsville.. Work hasn't worked out up there. the company is disorganised and no one wants to work for them... Glenn is flying home on thursday.. and Has work lined up.. looks like it will be a good job down here.

yesterday we left at 4am to take Glenn to the airport. his flight was delayed half hour cause of engine problems.. but he is now in townsville. he will come back in a month to visit the kids.

he was going to drive.. but well the roads are all flooded.. so he had to fly.

Back to being a single mum.. now to get over that part, and get myself into a functioning routine :)

missing kittens

Saturday Night... Nat says to me, mum where's the other ginger kitten.. they are always hiding underneath one another.. so we started digging.. discovering that TWO weren't in the box.. I was devastated.. we searched the house, all over. nothing.... i was so upset.. i even searched her hidey holes outside (yes at 11pm in the rain)

The next day (yesterday) Misty went missing.. i thought maybe i could follow her and if she had hidden the others, i could get them... all the kids were looking for her, but i went back in to check the box and there she was feeding. but i could still hear a meow.

I moved the box, and the meows got louder. there were 2 very distressed kittens at the back of my shoes..

what i think happened.. is they went climbing.. just crawling as they do.. and climbed up but couldn't get back.

Anyway all ends well... mummy & babies were reunited and are all fine now.

our girls are now 4.. i can't believe how time flies.. it doesn't seem that long ago that they were born.. i know we all say that..

Sunday we went to taronga zoo for their birthday. it was a fantastic day. we all had fun :)

monday we had cupcakes at Katya's house.. went to target, came home and got dinner ready to take to nann

y & poppy's. where they both got a new bike with trainer wheels, helmet, and an outfit for winter :) very lucky girls.

we have had a lovely few days with Lisa coming to stay.

she flew into sydney on wednesday and left on saturday. we went shopping, stayed at home and met up with some lovely ladies in sydney.. And went to ikea...

First day of School :)

The kids all started school together.. Mel yr5, Nat yr4, Kaitlyn & Rachel & Benjamin all went to preschool.... ahhh perfect.. 830 i loaded everyone in the car, and oops battery is flat.. sigh. Everyone around had already just left. so called NRMA with up to 60mins to wait.. they came in 15.. Kids were only 5 mins late to school which wasn't bad. twins & Benjamin to preschool.

Came home for only a few mins before i had to leave for the airport.

kids had a good day. Benjamin didn't cry too much. and settled quickly.

New Years Resolutions..

Ok who makes them? we all do!!!
And how many times do we not stick to them? me? almost never!
so this year I have made a goal, of improvement... not a change.
* get ahead financially. . I have made steps already, Then I can start saving.. And all of this is done on no major income from my hubby.

* be healthier.. Eat better, exercise more. (wouldn't be hard) and hopefully I will lose some weight. I am not setting an end goal.. Any is better than nothing.

* be a better mum.. Learn more patience. Teach the girls more about the house hold and how to take care of it.

* improve my marriage any way possible. I want to find my dh appealing. And want him physically.. And ATM I don't at all.. I know this is with in me.. Not him.

* and then FLY better :)

WELCOME IN 2008!!!!!

not really alot to say, we stayed home.. there were 8 kids here. so mayhem all around LOL
the little ones went to sleep, and the big ones had sparklers, and glow sticks in which they threw them in the air, and looked pretty cool..

unfortunately, being hormonal/emotional didn't help to make it an enjoyable night.. but today,
A special friend was in Sydney, and I went down and met Inger. have talked to her for awhile now, and it was lovely to finally meet her :)

I have very tired kids today.. so hopefully an early night all around. I was up most of the night tending to each of the kids.. thats what also happens when there are 8 in the house LOL

13/12 my baby turned 2.
he opened pressies, had papa & grandele come over for dinner. then friday we had a bbq, that the weather cleared nicely for at the park, with friends and family. then Birthday in sabbath school and down to grandma's for more pressies. except that included xmas too.

ok so if you look back, you will see when Kirah became a mummy... i swore I wasn't going to keep one of those adorable kittens... ha yeah i fell for the fluffy one.. bear.

he came to live with us at 4wks old. yes that is early. but his mummy was getting sick feeding them, so they left as soon as they found homes.

Bear settled in just fine. not too much whinging which was great!

he is so much bigger now. he is a gorgeous nature.. and gets along so well with our other cat Misty. they curl up together and sleep.. she washes him.. its all too sweet..

alot has happened in the area of moving.
G found out that work is harder to come by when you aren't a local.. so, with finding that out, he drove home. on the way home, someone had contacted his brother about work, and wasn't happy that g had left. well not much else you can do when you miss your family and work isn't going the way it was planned. so we weren't moving anywhere.
the following sunday, we get a call from our landlords. we need to do an inspection. next sunday, we have new tenants moving in.. we are like oh crap... we are moving, but where to?
we get packing and cleaning.
today, the llandlords come, inspection went great. they are really impressed how we have taken care of the house, esp with so many bodies in it. we then discuss what was happening regarding our move. and they don't want to get us to move IF we have no where to move to! fantastic!!!!
We are staying put for now. when the work picks up and g is needed back up there, he will go, earn money, find a house for us and then we can follow.. until then we are here... phew its a huge relief for me.

Just before i was meeting a few friends for coffee, i thought I would stop and get Benjamin's hair cut... they fit him straight in, and he sat perfectly.. at the end, she asked if I wanted a mohawk.. so i did.. (out of my comfort zone there) and he looked adorable :)

Our Big News...

After many hours of thinking, discussions & research.....

We have decided to pack up home and move 1900kms north to Townsville.
there is heaps of work up there for Glenn.. and its about time we have a change.
So at the end of December we are off.. around here long enough for xmas with the family.

Alot of work ahead of us../me... but i think its the change we need in our lives right now. a new start.. and I haven't seen Glenn this happy in awhile. it has to be right :)

Well.....

I posted earlier that my foot was sprained.. well last week I found out it is infact broken.. so now I have a stupid boot to wear, that is like a cast.. horrible thing.

I put in an application for work at the local nursing home... got a call today, and have an interview on Wednesday.. so I'm nervous about that.

We are still waiting to hear back about another house.. doubt we will get it tho. Will be like all the others.

Benjamin is now 17mo... he loves to kick the ball around, and thoroughly enjoys being outside. Such a boy LOL

Our Melanie was voted by ALL her class mates to be the Student Representative for her class.. this is a big honor, as she has a special task ahead of her... She has meetings every Monday lunch time, and takes ideas from her class, to the meetings.
she gets to wear the Special badge on her uniform and all..
She was so excited this morning that she got her uniform all ready, all the way to hair ties and the style of hair she wanted, as she wanted to look her best infront of the school..

Oops... I stacked it on the way home.. sprained my ankle.. the dr was concerned about ligament or tendon damage. so we wait for it to heal.. and I get to sit on my butt for a bit longer.. but there goes he gym for a week or so.. :(

Can you believe Benjamin is 16mo already? I can't.

He is such a little boy now. and cheeky as..

he runs after all the girls.. and can say Nat.. and plenty of other words.. his favourite is "look" but sometimes it souds like dog..

He is mastering the art of kicking a ball.. and loves it. He also loves to thow the ball and make a noise/grunt at one of us to get it for him, when he is quite capable LOL

My baby is growing up!!!

busy times...

Howdy howdy howdy!

wow we have been busy this last little while.. thursday we picked up the loan car while ours gets fixed.. its toooo nice to give back. Friday we went to sydney, I had my 6wk check up and am cleared for normal duties, but still take it easy, as the internal stitches still pull sometimes and that can be for as long as 6mo.. then after my appointment, we headed down to Kearns and spent the afternoon at my family's place.. the kids had heaps of fun, and it was nice to sit back a bit, and be in a tidy house that isn't destroyed as soon as i do something else LOL

We came home saturday afternoon, and got kids fed, then our good friends Rosemarie & Andrew from QLD came for a visit.. let the boys get to know me a bit before I babysat them on sunday.. So great seeing them again.. wish they were closer.. anyway.....

Sunday we did.. ummm cleaning in the morning.. then at 130 the boys came around.. Rosemarie & Andrew rushed off to the wedding.. and Kyal(2) slept, while Damon(4) played hard with the girls..

Not long later I came in to check on the others, Glenn had taken Benjamin for a walk, and Kaitlyn went too.. And the quiet outside worried me.. so mel checked on them. THEY WERE GONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Mel & Nat checked out the back, in the cubby and all around until i noticed them on the other side of our back fence and running down the other people's driveway, which leads to a main road!

I jumped in the car, told glenn where i was going (he was nearly home from the walk) and drove down the people's driveway until i got to them... they had climbed THROUGH a barbed wire fence to see a.... wait for it...... HORSE!!!! Oh one detail i forgot.. they were stark NAKED!!!!

A couple of very small scratches, and lots of dirt later.. they climbed into the bath.. phew

the boys went home at aroun 9pm.. :( and left for QLD the next morning.

now we are on our 2wk of holidays.. we are looking at finding a new rental. something bigger.. but it hasn't looked too good for us yet.

I'm looking at going back to work soon.. which scares me... we need the money.

and that is about it...

Thursday night, after procrastination, I decided to go to the shops to get the present for Glenn, it was his birthday after all (22nd march) get there, and the shop is closed. Found something else, and when leaving decided the kids were good and could have an icecream..

waiting in the drive thru of Macca's... a large 4wd, with a large bull bar, rammed up the back of us. They weren't watching I guess..

We are ok, I am sore, and its effected the recovery from surgery.. but thankfully the kids are fine, and the other people have insurance, so we have no out of pocket expenses..

maybe its a hint to stay away from the shops LOL

Natalie tried out her new snorkelling gear, and loves it!!!!

we went to the reptile park, and had a heap of fun... Held the big python, and got a pic taken, as well as had personal introduction to 2 very cute Koala's.

Benjamin wasn't impressed with the snake, although he shouldn't have a fear of them yet, and the one who runs in the house yelling "snakes" grabbed the head/neck of the huge python!!! Weird kids LOL

We went with our good friends Marlene & Jonathon, and really enjoyed their company

Happy birthday to our Natalie... she is 8 Now... can't believe it!!!
She took 3doz cupckes to school on her birthday, and opened pressies before she went to school.. then came home, mucked around, and Nanny & Poppy came over fo a visit.. Nat loves her nanny and popppy and didn't want them to go home.
Last night as Glenn was home we had her birthday dinner...... HOT DOGS. and her #8 cake for dessert.
She had heaps of fun and thats all that matters.

well its day 13 post op.. wow time does go fast!
I am not recovering as well as i thought. and spend most of the time in pain. So im ringing the dr today to ask for more meds as i am nearly out of these ones.

The kids are going well.. Natalie is on an excursion today to Glenrock Lagoon.. Not sure whats there other than a hike for them LOL and she is of course on a count down to her birthday.. 1wk today!!!

I have booked Kaitlyn and Rachel into preschool again for tomorrow. g will be at work 10-4 and I am hoping to get to Rhodes for a meet of lovely ladies. So today will be another day of rest.. at least i hope it will be.

Im off to continue my Alias seasons LOL

its like a month since our last post.. oops.
I guess so much has happened.
Girls started back at school and love it.
twins birthday.. they are now 3 WOWSER we had a bbq dinner with friends for them. I made 2 number 3 cakes. went well..
They continue to enjoy preschool, they take turns with who is the grumpiest to be left, but that lasts a whole 5mins after we leave.

biggest news is i guess, i was scheduled for a hysterectomy on march 5, and then it was moved forward. so on feb23 I had my guts ripped out, ok well just the uterus & cervix. definately no more babies for us now. :(
and a long recovery ahead :(

Natalie's birthday is next. I hope i will be up to it

Im off for a sleep.. i go home tomorrow from hospital. And I guarantee this isthe best hospital to be in :)

Camping Weekend Away

this past weekend, a long weekend for us, we went to seal rocks for the weekend. took our camper trailer. and it was a HOT weekend. thankfully as evening set in so did quite a cold wind and we could still snuggle in bed.

Friday afternoon after we set up, we haded for boat beach, and the water was like ICE. the kids played around heaps.. digging holes, and burying each other. Benjamin just ate the sand LMAO

Saturday, we took a picnic lunch to foster, and after lunch we went to the beach there where there is a cement pool. the kids loved it. and I was pretty much the only one that got burnt Sigh

Sunday we went back to boat beach in the morning where Im sure the water was colder than the previous time. came back to our site for lunch then headed to swan bay.. was lovely there. We stayed there for hours and all the kids had a great time playing in the water. It was shallow enough for Kaitlyn and Rachel, and Benjamin played in the shallows as well.. and the big girls could also go out deeper (where we couldn't touch)

we came home and showered, cleaned up for the night, and vegged out.

the 3 little ones slept well most nights. and we were thankful for that.

we packed up on Monday at came home (check out was at 1oam) got home around lunch time, packed everything up and washed.. I think i had a bit of sun stroke? as i felt so yuc that night. Glenn went off to work monday night, and we are getting ready for school now, and back into the normal routine..

Don't ya just love it... Rach decided to put blue eyeshadow (of mel's) all over his face LOLOk so other than our son turning blue, its holidays.. and Mel & Nat have been having a heap of fun.. Yesterday we went to the movies and saw Happy Feet... such a good movie. we also got everything we need for Kaitlyn & Rachel to start preschool (next wednesday) so they have a bag, and lunch boxes... they are excited.. So i think that day we will take the big girls out, just with Benjamin.. will be good :)

we are proud parents .. last night was the schools speech night, and I got a call from one of the teachers saying we had to go..

Natalie was awarded with the"Citizenship Award" for year 2 and Melanie got the "academic consistency & effort" award.. not just a piece of paper but an actual trophy..

So we are very proud of the girls.

Today was our Benjamin's 1st birthday party. we had a fun time with family and friends over.
he had a lightning Mcqueen cake, lots of pressies, but im not sure who had more fun LOL him or the bigger girls.
we rode the quad bike, and all the bubs had a go... and there was a water fight.. kids played in the pool, and had heaps of fun.

Mr. Benjamin crashed tonight. And so did half the others :)
in saying that I think i will too LOL

Ahhhhhhh Today Benjamin is 11mo.. Only one month and counting til he is ONE YEAR!

He is standing up and cruising the furniture.

As for the others... Melanie is doing really well in school.. Not long til they finish for the year..
Nat is also doing really well.. won a math game against the whole class last week.. SO proud.
Kaitlyn & Rachel are Potty trained during the day, which saves us heaps of money.
Not too much else happening. really Looking forward to xmas. Can't wait to get into it this year :)

Im off to feed kids lunch and hit the housework :)

Awww Look at my baby. We found him sound asleep in bed like this.. lol... sitting up snoring

We have had a normal week. Full of ups and downs. Kaitlyn & Rachel have been a struggle for me. Into heaps of stuff.. every day something new.. and most days I end up in tears thinking what next.
Like now for instance.. mid typing.. they got brown paint on the walls.. where they got the paint from we don't know.

I had all intentions on typing a fair bit about us recently.. but have lost it now, As I am most likely in trouble for not doing something.. this or that its always my fault..

Our Benjamin is finally crawling.. but when he did it, there was no stopping. Yesterday afternoon, he crawled to ME! and that was it.. he's chasing me around the house LOL chases his sisters.. everything :)

First to start... A cute pic of Benjamin... He just cut his 3rd tooth on the bottom.. so he now has 5.

He loves to put his head on his arm to rest while he's rolling around :) its tooo cute!!!

Now to the happenings of yesterday..

I was in the laundry and came back in to find Kaitlyn & Rachel repainting the house.. they hallway had purple swirls all down the hallway, including paint on the carpet. Sigh... thankfully it was kids craft paint and easily came off. although there is still a bit to get off the carpet.
So with cleaning up that, kids missed the bus, then had to go to playgroup, where Katya was grumpy to come, but soon settled in, including the standard fight over me.. My year as co ordinator is coming to an end YAY
Girls had their first session back to gymnastics, and loved it. I did groceries while they were there.

Anyway, best get back to housework while Benjamin is asleep

wow time does fly.. Our baby is just growing tooo fast, and is 10mo already.. he is moving all around the place. rolling, and turning.. he so wants to crawl, but hasn't quite got it..
no more teeth this month.. but he's had a little cold the last couple of days.

Its hot here, and he LOVES the pool.

Quiet Weekend..

Such a quiet weekend here. We are missing the 2 big girls. Melanie is at my parents house. and Natalie is at a friends house. Im sure neither of them want to come home. But Melanie has to as she has a party to go to tomorrow.
I found 2 houses on the internet that are up for rent, one is a 5bedroom house, and the other a 7bedroom.. we are going to try for both of them.. I hope we get the 7.. it would be great! even a spare room for an office/scrapping space :)
Speaking of scrapping. I have done 4LO tonight. so i achieved what i wanted to get done.. here they are:

Busy couple of days

School holidays have hit and we have been busy busy busy..
yesterday we spent awhile with good friends at mingara swim center.. wore us out just slightly. Rach had a ball showing off her new swim skills, benjamin kicked back and loved it.. Kaitlyn well... she wasn't impressed.. wore her self out crying.. then settled down a bit. Mel & Nat had an awesome time :)
today we went up to Oakvale farm with a mum's group.. after a morning shower.. it turned out nice. Not too hot, and they had heaps of fun.. as you can tell by the pics. We patted heaps of animals, fed the lambs, goats, cows, kangaroo's heaps more.. Kaitlyn & Amy milked the cow, Daisy, Benjamin LOVED the goats and sheep eating off the front of his pram lol and wouldn't let go of the goats head..
they patted Koala's too..
Now everyone is tired and half of them are asleep LOL

Benjamin has been a little grumpy and i think he's not 100% but he too will be fine soon enough. He has started clapping his hands :D:D:D

today was beautiful weather wise, and this afternoon the girls went outside to play.. here is B & K together on the little quad bike..

it was a beautiful weekend, spent as a family. Saturday we had lunch with my parents. And then went to the park for a little while. kids had a ball.. And it wore them out YAY
today we spent the day at home. The kids tidied their room and i did the same to ours. Glenn mowed the lawns, and we did some cooking with the girls.
Rachel is using the potty really well.. Kaitlyn did a backslide after being in hospital.. thankfully it has been nearly a week since we left, and no signs of going back yet.

Well what a week!!

Thursday was our 9 yr anniversary.. Yep we have been married 9yrs WOW.. We didn't do too much. just spent the day together, and g went to work as usual..
Friday, Mel woke up and felt blah, so i let her stay home. At lunch, we went as usual to eat with G. K started feeling a little warm, and g was asked to work on sunday night. that was fine. We came home. Kaitlyn & Rachel had a sleep and I made a brownie for dinner at our friends house. Unfortunately Miss K got worse. her temps were hitting 40+. So we came home and packed a bag for me to take Miss K back into the hospital..
There we sat for quite awhile. she had nurofen & Panadol while waiting, but still didn't bring her temp down. eventually we went in.. Only after we watched someone come in who had overdosed on drugs. so she was spasming everywhere.. And my brother (AJ) came in to keep me company while we waited..
she was monitored again. her temp got to nearly 41. A bit of riggors. we tried to get a wee sample. and she got a canula put in again. But this time it wasn't as good and she cried.. As did I.. that was simply heart wrenching. As much as you want to rescue them, you can't or they won't get better.
Anyway, we got up to the ward at 6am.. so we got her settled a bit more. she had iv fluids & antibiotics. about 730am i had a nap.. it was a dragged out time. with lots of missed sleep. But we came home now. more tests and they came out clear. so we are thankful.

Anyway.. To kinda fill you all in... Miss K started having feversLast Friday. She would seem to get better, but then it would hitAgain. I kept her fluids up and she didn't have any visible signs ofAn infection. So I procrastinated on the Dr. Yesterday I got in to a GP and she looked over K really well.. And said.. I think this isQuite serious. You need to go into the hospital she is ceptic (bloodInfection) which is closely linked with meningitis. So I trotted offHome. Rang g as I was leaving to organise his mum to babysit. AndRang my parents to let them know what was happening too.We got to the hospital. Waited for ages. So many kids with gastro..We waited and waited, all the while, while trying to get miss k toHave fluids. They needed a urine sample. IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!Then ended up catherterizing her for a uring sample, B4 theyInserted the canula for IV fluids & antibioticsLong story short. I got to the ward with her at 4am.. She hadAnother lot of AB and I got an hour of sleep b4 sunlight & peopleWaking.. Yawn... LolHer temps are lessoning . She has a severe bladder infection.Which hopefully hasn't damaged her kidneys, but they will be testedIn a couple of months.

We are home now and she is getting back to her normal self.

Nice Weekend..

Ahh another weekend over. We headed down to sydney early on saturday morning.. visiting famiy. stayed there over night. although Miss Kaitlyn was quite sick. it went better than we thought.. well I thought. Everyone slept most of the night. Nat was counting down from 5 in her sleep LOL and rach disappeared over to mel sometime in the dark hours. lol Kaitlyn just told me off for having a little bit of the pillow & then wanted cuddles all night.
The girls had heaps of fun. Aunty Al had to go to work on sunday morning.. but otherwise.. it was all good. We got home at 2pm ready for g to go to work at 3. it seemed like a LONG night with him working til 12. and thn the kids grumpy.

A Beachy day

Ah a lovely sunny day spent OUT.. We went to the shops to grab a few things, then Had a picnic lunch at a park... then we went to the beach for the kids to play.. But they ended up swimming.. Im not sure how.. it was freezing. Benjamin was a bit cold. so he was sad. Kaitlyn and rachel got tumbled by the water.. so they were cold..

we came home and we were ALL exhausted.. in bed by 830.. Gosh i feel OLD LOL

UP the bush...

Saturday, we headed up the Watagans for a church service with our church.. then a picnic lunch. Kids had a heap of fun. Nat was off as quick as she could exploring with the other kids. Mel wasn't too far behind her. Kaitlyn & Rachel tried to keep up with some of the bigger girls. Collecting pine needles for the fire.
Benjamin was content getting cuddles from his Birthday Cousin Kristiarne & feedling & sleeping :)
We headed home, rach fell asleep in the car not long later. I got to head out on a night with the girls. We went to the movies.. 10 of us went to see You, Me & Dupree. its a goooood movie LOL
Sunday.. we got to go and spend some time With friends of ours. It was Marlene's birthday lunch. And the kids had heaps of fun. They Live near the lake. So we were at the park.. check out this pic of nat i got. pic

Oh Kaitlyn & Rachel have decided to START POTTY TRAINING YAY Kaitlyn is going a slight bit better. But they are both doing wonderfully

Our school pics came in. and i am really happy with how they turned out.

the kids are back at school after 3wks of holidays. even though the holidays went well, we are all happy
I have taken the oppertunity of them being gone to join Curves.. first session is over with and Im looking forward to heading there every morning..
This week, we have had the little 3 sick. Benjamin with croup, Kaitlyn and Rachel have had a vomitting bug, and annoying coughs. it has worn them out.
Tonight Mel isn't feeling the best. But tomorrow we are heading up to the Vineyards for Tanya's 40th birthday party, then mel gets to go to disney on ice with a friend. She is really excited.

7mo Already...

Our Benjamin is 7 months old already. I am enjoying him so much. His face lights up when he see's me and it really cheers me up.
He is rolling around.. not too frequent but can when he really wants to. And he can sit for a little while unsupported. He is teething now, but nothing has popped up yet. He inhales his solids, although i am only managing to feed him them once perday.. he's happy with that. and I can do it while Kaitlyn & Rachel are having Lunch.

July 8 ~ Taronga Zoo

seeing as it is school holidays we thought we would take the kids to taronga zoo.. Sydney. Took us 1.5hrs to get there.. but it was worth it. Benjamin slept most of the time. But the others had heaps of fun. i think they might just be worn out lol
Mel & nat can't choose which animal was their favourite. Kaitlyn Loved the raffs and Rachel tosses up between the turtles & the chimps.. she still makes the noises on command LOL

we left at closing. (5pm) kids bought a couple of little things from the shop. grabbed maccas on the way home. and eventually got home about 730. ugh long day..
that wasn't the end of our day with issues next door. police coming etc.. I just pray that my kids don't turn out like that one next door.

Benjamin is now a jolly jumper fan. He loves being upright and watching everything happening around him. It didn't take him long to figure out how it all works and sits there bouncing most of the time. Giggling as well.

just because we needed somebody else to love.. we got a kitten. Her name is misty.. not sure exactly what sort she is but she is a lovely nature.

If she can put up with rachel constantly on her, picking her up and annoying her she has to be wonderful. She caught her first mouse.. (main aim of having her. Our area has bad mice atm)

She is 12 wks old. and she was free.. Can't complain LOL

Mother's Day...

I can honestly say this mothers day wasn't the best one had.. lol.. woke up and after a little while the kids started bickering ... sorting out kids clothes, then rachel puked on some.. she had the vomiting bug that kaitlyn had had on thursday afternoon.
She ended up having a good sleep, but by then, you guessed it.. I had the bug.. but it was both ends.
Oh well... kids got me some lovely pressies as did glenn.

Yesterday Benjamin enjoyed his first lot of solids.. good ol' apple lol
he enjoyed every bite.. He is going through a growth spurt atm. I didn't think he should grow more but well... he is lol
everyone else is doing well.. thankfully the big girls are back at school..
Glenn is still out of work.. and I am getting more scrap booking done Yipee... I am making more things too crafty.. which I am surprised i can do LOL

Argh... we've been busy

well where do we start?? we went away and that was lovely... kids had heaps of fun.. visited parks, let them just play, went to other nice parks and fed ducks, did the 3 sisters at the blue mountains.. We did the scenic railway and well the kids liked it, even some tourists took picture of Kaitlyn and Rachel lol was funny.

Now we are home things are getting back into the normal routines. we are STILL catching up on washing... Thankfully the kids sleeping has gone back to normal.

The kids are back to school tomorrow YIPEE!
kinda back to normal..

I have to get moving on the house work.. lots to do

Look at my scruffy muffies... Easter Sunday morning waiting for their easter hunt to begin... The easter bunny was very generous.. Kaitlyn didnt want to walk on her foot (even tho she can use her toes) UNTIL she saw the eggs and then we couldn't stop her. lol
we planned a set of clues, attached to an egg that lead the girls around the yard until they got the "big one" at the end. they loved it.
atm they have all gone to the park (across the bridge) to have a picnic lunch & play around with the camera... that will be interesting. Glenn has taken K&R too. so im here with My boy enjoying peace & quiet lol

Here is our brave Miss K. This is while she was waiting for the doctor to fix her foot. Today she wouldn't walk on it, she just HAD to be carried everywhere. Which became heavy after awhile. I guess it will strenghten my arm mussles LOL
By tonight Miss K had her dressing changed. and it looks good. and she is walking around a little. she uses her tipee toes which is so cute as she is also doing it on her GOOD foot too lol
Miss M & Miss N were having heaps of fun today. playing with their friends up & down the street it gave us time to prepare the easter egg hunt for tomorrow. K & R are doing a basic one and we have clues all worked out for the big girls. they will have heaps of fun.

Kaitlyn also found a small (thank goodness) stick of lipstick.. and well... covered her face :) Looked hilarious.. and we got pics.. (will post tomorrow) rachel joined her a bit later lol and it won't come off..

Anyway, i have washing to fold.. write more tomorrow

April 14 happy easter

well today did not turn out the way it was supposed to...

lunch time i was going out side and k (1stdd2) followed... all of a sudden she screamed blue murder.. i panicked and came back. blood was pouring out of her foot. a piece of glass was in her foot. a pretty decent size too.
she wouldn't let me do anything but hold her, so my neighbor came over to help. i got a dressing on and called Nat (ambo friend, Thanks NAT) who came over but she wouldnt even pull it out. so off to the hospital we went..
2hrs later we were seen and glass out. it is glued shut, and bandaged for protection. the glass was in over a centimeter deep.. she was scared of the x-ray machine.. but over all very brave.

the thing that upset her the most was not being able to eat or drink.. which upset me too Cause i couldn't eat infront of her :(

Argh Im exhausted.
